I am just starting it hope it works for 5 years for me, mine has gone to my liver have had various drugs over the last five years, just stopped Eurbulin only worked for 10 months before that was on Xeloda for 2.5 years. Fingers crossed

Hello, I am due to start this drug next week. Had 13 lots of Eurbulin but disease has progressed. I had breast cancer that has mestasied to my liver, although my scan has showed no new lesions or anywhere else, the old lesions have grown. I will be taking this tablet form and just pray that it will work for as long as it worked for you. What are you taking now

Hi, I was on xeloda for two and a half years, did suffer bad with my feet and hands. Changed to Eribulin in June, have been wearing cold cap have kept my hair has thinned but only slightly but am lucky that I have thick hair to start. Am on my 6 cycle, had scan and all stable, tumour marker has dropped down to 100. Was wondering how long I would be on this drug would love to hear from anyone. Thank you Kim

I have just finished cycle 1, due next one on the 11th July, have got to have a port fitted as not got good veins. No hair loss as yet but am cold capping. Only side effect I have had is indegistion but other than that all good. I was diagnosed with secondaries to my liver in December 2012 so nearly 5 years go, had xeloda for over 2 years but recent scan showed progression so swapped to this. Would love to hear from anyone else on this drug and how lon you have been on it. Kim xx

Hello, I was diagnoised with Secondary Breast cancer on 7th December 2012 so am into my 2nd year. At first had 18 weeks of chemo, then was Letrozole for over a year which worked very well and shrunk a lot of the lesions. Last September, had another scan and it showed one old lesion and one new one, have been taken Exemstrane and Eveirolumis, due another scan this coming monday 2nd march 2015. Would like to hear from anyone else who has either been on this drug or also has it on there liver. Would like to know how you are doing and how long you have had it. Keep reading different statistics but life expectancy and am making myself feel very scared!!!!

I have just been put on these two drugs because I have 2 new lesions on the Liver, overall the Liver is much better with a decrease but because of the 2 new ones in section 8 & 4 they have changed my treatment to everolimus and exemestane. I would like to hear from women who have been on these drugs and how they are doing

I have secondary breast cancer which was diagnosed December 2012 and gas mestasied to my liver, I had 18 weeks chemo and have been on letrozole ever since, it was working fine , but recent scan showed a new lesion and one old one so I am now going in everolimus and exemestane. Would like to hear from anyone else on this drug and how long you have been on it

I have been asked to take part in a trial drug for secondary breast cancer that has mestasied to my liver. On a recent scan overall the liver was much better, with some gone and some shruk, but I have a old lesion and one new one has appeared. I had 18 weeks chemo beginning of 2013 and have been on letrozole ever since, with no side effects. My consultant has now asked if I would take part in a trial called MANTA which will be a course of Fulvestrant in combiniation with the Dual mTOR inhibtor AZD2014 or Everolimus or Fulvestant Alone in Estrogen Receptor-Positive Advanced or Mestastatic Breast Cancer. Has anyone else taking part in trials and if so what were your results and are you glad you took part? Just need some reassurance that I am doing the right thing. I have now received the literature and the side effects are hideous, so really don't know what to do

Having seen my consultant he has informed me that I one old lesion and one new one. He has suggested that I go on a trial drug. The rest of my body is clear. Would like to hear from anyone else who has been in this position. On the imagine of my liver overall it looks quite clear just these two lesions.

I recently had another scan which revealed that a lot the lesions have shrunk and some have disappeared,which was really good news, but on close examination he said that there looked like one new lesion but couldn't be sure because he hadn't received the full report only the images. He said about taking part in a trial drug. Has anyone else had this happen? Am sick with worry that it has progressed

I was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in December 2012' I had 18 weeks of chemo and from June 2013 have been taking letrozole I have seen my consultant today and he has said that me tumour marker has gone up, it has been 379, 400 and now is 420. Can anyone tell me if they have had this and what's does it mean. I had a scan as well and that is stable. Any replies grateful received

What does this mean and has any body else has this. So scars

Hi Jacque, thanks for the reply. I have multiple spots of the liver and also have it in 2 ribs. Is that what you mean by flavour? Have had a couple of scan which all have come back as stable xx

Hi, I was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer on the 7th December 2013' I then started 18 weeks of chemo which finished in the May 2013, I then went onto leteozole which is so far working very well for me. I would like to hear from any other ladies who are in the same position as me, and how long have you had it. It is a very scary time. I was only 10 days off of my all clear from my fist diagnosed which was in 2007 where had I grade 2 ductal beast cancer and had my breast removed. Look forward to hearing from someone.
