Hi All , I have been thinking of you all this week particularly because it was the start of our treatment etc and as you say Rosie the support from you all was something I will never forget . Am sorry to hear you are suffering a chest infection , we have all had an awful cough and cold which refused to go for at least 10 days . im happy to join in with whatever you all would like to keep in touch , WhatsApp etc is great for me . Good morning ladies .. it’s been a while ! Rosie it sounds like you have been doing well with your travels , good Ella travels well , our youngest dog had awful travel sickness until he was a year old but loves it now . my GS is a delight and I love being a grandma , he is just sitting up now and interacting , they are coming to us for Christmas Day as usual and YS and GF are spending a few days over Christmas with us too which will be lovely . Rosie I hope your ES and family make it here this year after all the previous disappointments . Sadly our dear friend passed away a couple of weeks ago - he had been on endless clinical trials and different chemos but then deteriorated very rapidly , he outlived his prognosis by over 4 years , he was just 50 and leaves behind his wife and 2 teenagers , his funeral is next week at the local church in the village . hi Rosie , that date in July is ok for me - but baby Arthur is due the following day so I will say yes 🤞!! Hopefully no dramas around that date . glad you are negative now Rosie , several of my clients have had covid and also been left very weak too - hopefully you will both improve over the next few days . Hello ladies , where has the time gone ! It’s nearly March .. I know we are all moving on with our lives and don’t post very often but I think of you all ❤️. Cassie I hope all is well with your ED and the baby - very hectic I would imagine . Rosie I hope you have managed to catch up with your family finally 🤞. Joan how are you and your family ? Hopefully you have resumed your theatre trips . Wildpurl I hope you are enjoying life as a retiree !  Some nice news here , ES and DIL are expecting a little boy in late June , keeping everything crossed for no problems - latest scan shows all is well . we are getting used to life without Dad , my mum came out with myself and OH for a drive into Northamptonshire today for a dog walk around some woods and beautiful countryside , she hadn’t been out much since dad had died so I was surprised and pleased when she said she would come and she really enjoyed it , lots of snowdrops out too .  Hope you are all keeping well and spring is on its way !  ... Good morning ladies . Well what an awful time again with all of this uncertainty again ☹️- Rosie I expect it’s ruined your visit from ES and family but I’m hoping they are already here or at least able to travel ? Sad news from me .. my lovely dad passed away last Tuesday , he contracted sepsis and his weak heart couldn’t fight it off so he was taken to hospital last Monday and died less than 24 hours later - of course we were unable to be with him and although the doctor telephoned us to say we were “allowed “ to visit him in his final moments we didn’t get there in time . We are all rallying around my mum and YS is home for 2weeks and ES is calling in daily to see her as are we all . I hope you are all well and can at least spend Christmas with your loved ones as I think restrictions are inevitable in the New Year ☹️💐 ... View more
