Hi ladies x    I had had been on once or twice it was nice to see everyone going on in their different directions trying to get back to a new life as we know it x   i had tried to just carry on back to work, recon, ended up with full hysterectomy (I struggled with tamoxifen).   i went on holidays with the girls, and again with the family, almost divorced but got back on track with that, think we had to hit bottom before we could get back up, and just turned 39 😃   unfortunately for me I'm sat here having just had my first round of docetaxcel well I'm on day 7, I just had FEC last time so this aching business is new to me any tips ladies?   in true style though I have just bought a new caravan, lol seems to be a tradition of sorts ! ... Hi everyone sorry I've not been on much. Rosie you poor thing I can only imagine how disappointed you must feel, sound like you are really going through it still x you have had such a lot to deal with x. Fabulous hair btw, mine is super curly ! I still haven't got the cooking hug but we switched to 100% coconut oil for cooking most things last year and you can't really taste it my husband doesn't like coconut and he said it's fine for him. Lovewine I hope you got through the weekend without carrying out an major crimes ! I have had my reconstruction done it will be 2 weeks tomorrow so just the nipples next I will be going back in 6 weeks to plan the when that will be done - he has done a fab job I have to say, I bottled out of the diep thou and just went for implants. Glad to see everyone has popped in to say hello lately, at least January is done ! to be honest I'm just looking forward to summer because hopefully then it will just those horrible tablets that make me feel nuts, but no more surgery ! ... Hi Everyone, glad to hear that your Christmas went well and I'm pleased yesterday went as well as could be expected Rosie it must have been tough xx I too have had a lovely christmas we hit the credit cards and got whatever we wanted I'm sick of worrying about money and cancer so we though begger it and got we what wanted, my son got a drum kit and my husband a ps4 so they were both very happy too, and we had my parents and sister over for the first time ever and it was lovely. I have to say I feel very different when I'm at home to when I'm at work, if I am at home I am much better in myself but have no motivation to do much and if I'm at work it's so full on I find it hard to cope. I need to address the work thing as soon as my ops are finished. Rosie you mentioned that your expanders are still giving you grief, mine have got better and better as they have been infilled though they are still an odd shape, I've had 500ml in each now and am having the implants put in on the 19th Jan, I decided against the diep it's too much hassle. When are they doing yours? I have been struggling too lovewine, I went to the docs and he gave me some pills but I have only taken 2 I'm seeing how I do whilst I'm not at work and I seem to be much better but that doesn't help much as I'm back at work on the 5th and have a 2 day course to be on - think its a case a case of doing too much - trying to run before I can walk we need to be gentle with our selfs for a bit longer xx I hope everyone else is doing okay we have come such a long way I found my lump about this time last year we are all doing amazingly well x Catch up soon x kirstie ... Hi ladies, Joan how frustrating re your prostheses, took a while to get mine through too but then I never wore it as it was too heavy and I knew I wanted recon anyway x. I hope it arrives soon, I'm sure now the order is in it won't be long ;0) Rosie, that's great you went naked ;0) I think it's quite liberating and what lovely comments, I have put a pic up of me with my hair now 4 hair dyes later ! I'm surprised its not fallen out - mind you we shouldn't joke about these things ! I'm afraid I contacted the powers that be and it is right. As the purchaser it's your responsibility apparently, I can apply to the SRA for some help but ave been advised it takes months and is run on a priority basis so those in the process of transactions and moving are dealt with first and of course in the meantime your charged a daily interest rate! Hi ladies Sorry I've not been on I'm just so busy, I know I need to do something to cut down my schedule but not sure what at the moment I think it is too much, I'm working full time all the hospital appointments, I have my genetics test today, my two kids, husband, dog, tortoise, chickens, Christmas lol. I just don't ave the same energy I had before so just doing the house work feels too much ! I would love to cut down work but with all the money we owe now because of this year it's not an option, plus we of a letter yesterday from hmc saying that the solicitors we used to buy the house were fraudulent and didn't pay our stamp duty so they have billed us for it and advised they will also be charging interest since 2010 ! It's thousands, just what we need ! Hi everyone, Gosh working takes up far too much of my time ! That and doctors appointments lol the expanders are one he put in 150ml in each one on the first fill I was surprised but it's so much more comfortable now I can actually sleep on my side comfortably - well one side anyway so that's great. I have to go for a internal scan tomorrow to check my ovaries I was having cramps, I think it's the tablets but what do I know has anyone else has any scans I haven't had any through this whole process. Wildpurl hope your pleased with your cv the only way to go is to sell yourself big time ;0) just tell them all you are awesome.
