Hello ladies, well done Rosie for starting off this round, you have certainly been getting around. I hope your family in France manage to get across for Xmas this year and are not affected by the borders force strike. Your grandson is gorgeous Lovewine. How lovely to have them with you for his first Xmas. Very sad to hear of your friend’s death. Given the earlier prognosis it is great that all the treatment gave him four more years, even though there was nothing further to be done. Cassie, I cant quite believe your youngest grandson is a year old. I imagine you see a lot of him. I hope things are not too difficult for you at work, GP practices are under such a lot of pressure. Wildpurl, I hope you are enjoying your retirement and the opportunity to do even more crafting. We have still managed to avoid Covid although we both went down with quite a nasty respiratory infection recently. OH is still coughing, 5 weeks later. ED and partner arrive this afternoon for a few days because she has to work over the Xmas period. YD is doing the honours on Xmas Day, which is lovely. She is now on the second year of her OT degree and after Xmas will start a placement working with people who have long Covid, which should be very interesting. She is still fighting a battle with the local authority over an appropriate school to meet his educational needs, with his current school saying they cant do it beyond this year and the LA saying they can (or should) and GS is caught in the middle. Very frustrating, and I know they are by no means the only family in this position? I hope you all have a happy Xmas and that 2023 will be a good one for you and your families.
