I received good news with mine today SNB negative , grade 2 and clear margins obtained - started on tamoxifen today next stage radiotherapy. Thank you all for your good wishes surgery over and now at home recovering. All went well i had a wonderful team taking care of me and am keeping the painkillers well topped up. Results in 2 weeks but just taking one step at a time. Good luck to everyone for the coming week. All the best, Linda x

Hi everyone Well after 4 weeks of waiting surgery day has arrived and i am feeling so nervous. Reading your post op posts have been keeping me calm (until this morning!) but i am trying to focus on it soon being over. I am having WLE SNB and a breast reduction too - has anyone else had the reduction at the same time? I should get home on Friday so please please send me any advice to help with the recovery.Thanks! Hi Sandie73 I have just joined this forum too - its not something i have done before but already i feel the love and understanding from other members is helping me cope. I was diagnosed on April 9th with invasive ductal hormone positive - surgery is booked for May 7th. The best advice i have received is to take things one stage at a time and try to keep busy. Hello everyone, i've been recently diagnosed with IDC hormone positive. My surgery is on May 7th and as well as the lumpectomy and nipple removal on one breast i am going for a breast reduction (small lump and large breasts so seemed a sensible option)!
