Thank you everyone. Managed to get home today. Not feeling much better but wanted to be back at home. Starting new chemo tomorrow so fingers all crossed. Ugh, well that didn't last! After 2-3 weeks of increasing pain a scan has shown my liver mets are increasing again! I have also come into hospital for a night tonight to try and get in top of my symptoms. I think things have been complicated by the fact that I started with a sickness bug about a month ago. Oh I am so behind on my garden now. Have managed to be I'll for most of this month so just haven't got out there! Still need to strip down and cover the veg bed and start planning for next year (I have a couple of cold frames that I feel I could get better use out of. Also with all the mild wet weather we've suddenly get lots of toadstools on the lawn! I don't mind them too much but I worry about the boy poking them!! Hoping to get out there when I have some energy back as I wanted to plant some fruit bushes this winter. Fortunately I have a nice garden centre with a good cafe nearby so I'll be off for a spend once I'm feeling up to it! Xxx ... View more

Sounds perfect to me B! Such gorgeous weather at the moment. I have resolved that if it's clear at tge weekend I'm going to take my son up to Dartmoor to watch the sun set and see the stars. We are lucky that Exeter is a small city and not over lit so you can see stars but up on the moor they are stunning. Going to pack loads of blankets and hot chocolate though!! ... View more

Hate to bring up the C word but is anyone doing any Christmas crafting? (Had you all worried for a minute there didn't I!!) So I had scan results yesterday and the Vinorelbine is working!! I am so relieved as so many other treatments haven't worked for me - I had pretty much written myself off! I was told they had seen reduction of about a third. I hope everyone else is coping with this treatment well and that you get good results too. Xxx ... View more
