Hi Everyone sorry sorry that i have not been on for a while maybe that is good news  showing that i dont need the support so much that you all gave me over the last 6 months i could not have got through it with out your help i am sure. Anyway update is that the CT scan on my brain lungs and pelvis was clear but i still have the occasional sickness and nausea. But i am sure it will get better.  All treatment is finished as with Tiple Neg there is nothing left to take. Seeing onc next month.  Trying to get back to normal but its a bit of a struggle but i am sure you all understand what i mean. Went to visit freinds the other week and had a drink opps a bit to much got tippsy [thats not normal for me ] lol. Well catch up with you all again soon. Hi all thanks for all your wishes. Feeling a bit better tonight.  Tree up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hubby has got some good uses. CT was okay but after watching them trying to get the canular in for the dye i can now see why the doc insisted i had a pick line put in. Karen you never know we may bump into each other in the rads clinic find out my times on thursday. Hi all planning meeting went well even though i was sick at the hospital [people avoid you as they think you have the norav sickness].  Start rads on the 11th dec. I know i had 2 tattos but cant find them a bit like you karen. Just had a call and having CT on Saturday.  So should find out soon what is wrong as this sickness is making me feel rubbish. Hi all hope that everyone is feeling well or as well as you can be. Not been on for a while not felt to good even though i have not had chemo since the 23rd Oct. Feeling sick nearly all of the time so onc has decided that i should have a ct scan of head lungs and pelvic area. So fingers crossed. Going for planning meeting tomorrow for rads. Got three weeks with rads and the doc said it will be over christmas so have to go on a saterday after christmas. ... View more

Hi to all sorry been a bit down and not been feeling how i thought i might this week. Looks like i could take till after christmas before i will start to feel better. Should see the rads doc next week to see if i will be having radio treatment. Appetite is not to good so on steroids for a week cold sores round my mouth one goes and another one comes. Hi all feeling a bit down been ill all week with leg cramps feeling sick been to a&e again Tues they checked me out sent me home to much sickness going on in hospital so did not want to admit me. Well heres why i feel down CHEMO STOPPED still had six weeks of chemo to go but the onc said i am not reacting well to Tax so he will not give me no more.He seem pretty sure i have had enough to prevent it coming back but he cannot be 100% sure. Sending me to see radiologist to decide where we go from here. Feelings are mixed i cried when they told me i had to have it then cried when he said he felt it would be a danger to me to carry on. I will see him in 4 weeks then every three months after that for 2 years. Hope to see Karen today as they are taking out my pick line today. Hope everyone is well. Hi ladies sorry not been on been feeling sick since Yesterday and really tired after my 3rd tax. I meet Karen too and we had a good chat while we had our tax but i must inform you all that Karen does not look like a scarcrow she has a good head of hair not like me with my slap head. Hope you all feel good especially the ones coming to the end of thier treatment.  Going to see if i can keep out of hospital this week as i see my onc on wednesday maybe he will change my sickness tablets and can do something else to keep my sugar levals lower after chemo. Karen will look out for you this afternoon you dont have to sit in the waiting room you just tell reception you are going to the lounge.   Anyway sorry guys not been on line this week too tired and no concentration. Its nice to see so many of you are coming to the end of your chemo if i have the 7 left i will finish the begining of Dec them its radiothereaphy.   Having this shortness of breath is becoming a pain landed in A&E monday but they let me home. Tummy is covered in brusies from the heparin injections for the blood clots i will be on them for another 5 months. Hope the ses are better for you all this session. karen what time are you there i am 2 pm. I am also on omeprazol 30mg 1 in the morning and 2 at night as i have a hiatus hernia and get bad heart burn and bile at night. Chemo brain drives me nuts to of to docs today breathing not to good. ... View more

Karen i am not having the white cell injections. I am on heparin for my blood clots and the bruises are huge. Due next one on Thursday you never know we might bump into each other. ... View more

Cath SE not to bad on my 3rd day got dry mouth which i find ice cold water helps. I think that my copd is going to be much worse when i have finished my treatment as my breathing is not as good as it was before i started. but seeing the lung guy on the 22nd to see if he can help as i want to do the full 9 weeks if i can. i spend a lot of time standing in a room thinking what did i want too lol ... Concentration not good at the mo so if i forget anyone i am so sorry   Thanks for all the hugs and good wishes these really help to keep me going. nearly gave up with all the thing they keep finding wrong. My tummy has so many brusies from the injections i have to have and one a day for 6 months i dont think will give them time to heal up. Had my first tax yesterday and only 8 left to go. Karen 2609 same here maybe its because we are on weekly 1.30 appointment got in at 4 left at 7.30 so told to call 1 hour before next session then they will tell me how late they are running. I am at southend where do you go ? ... View more
