hi ladies Day 8 on first treatment for me and finally got myself out for a hour. God it was a struggle but glad i did it. im not regretting it but no dame well i did it. ache all over. i to have been very emotional hubby finding that very hard, bless him. Its my birthday on Saturday family taking me out for a meal only trouble is finding something i can actually eat. really struggling with food. Take it from me Murphy u r not missing out. i wouldn't wish this feeling on my worst enemy. i was told today that im having these injections to try to build up my emuine system because in the past I've suffered with infections and im illurject to most antibiotics. so they would struggle to find something to fight it off with. sorry can't spell. lol. sue xxx ... morning ladies hope it all goes ok 4 u 2day Diane . don't for get we are all individuals. first one yesterday 4 me was at hospital 6 hours. when for picc line first they were short staffed so running late finally get in hour later. then i cause them to run even more late she has picc line in half way and say's to me very sorry we have a problem. well at this stage me being me panicked and put my heart rate sky high and alarm starts going of. they get me to calm down after i while and tell me my Vien had shut down with line only being half way in. so they take it out and start again on another vien. that one when ok. lol had to be me. i come out and its 12.30 chemo at 1.30. so have small lunch and go to chemo unit. Big notice up on board DUE TO HIGH VOLUME OF STAFF SICKNESS CHEMO CLINIC IS RUNNING VERY LATE. So hour and a half later i go in not there fault i no but i felt it was very rushed. so finally out of hospital with huge bright yellow bucket for nurse to flush picc line and loads of Drugs dressings and injections. sorry for long post nearly done. was fine up until about three hours after treatment then THEN BOOM it kicked in sooooo tired and feeling sick took tablets they didn't work went to bed haven't slept much feeling a tad better this morning. sorry for going on just felt i had to get off my chest lol. sue xxx ... jingo-x i sometimes want to scream at them and say u don't get it. ive been so emotional tonite can't deal with anything its horrible can't snap out of it. hubby finding it hard bless him i can see him trying to think what to say not to upset me. hopefully i will be better after I've started chemo tomorrow. ... Hi ladies Hope u r all having a good weekend and not suffering to much.  Eeek it's the day before chemo starts and I'm very nervous. Family all coming over this afternoon, which would normally be great to see them all. One of my son's proposed to his girlfriend last nite and there is a ring and everything that goes with it. Sounds very selfish of me but she is ok but very snooty and her family that we haven't met yet are to. Our family are very down to earth . So I never feel comfortable when she's at ours. Today I just want to lounge around in my jogging bottoms and hoody and do what I want to do. That's not going to happen. hi Debtex really sorry to hear about your hair that's one of reasons im not doing cold cap unfortunately it only works for some people not everyone. Nicnac i was told yesterday that i would have to have those injections but if i didn't want to do them myself the district nurse would do them for me i said that sounds good not sure if i could do them myself. sue xxx ... Sounds like quite a few of u r really up beat and coping fairly well, it's encouraging to hear. I have a few busy days now sorting things out before I start on Monday.
