Hi, Not having a good year firstly diagnosed with primary lympodemia in my left leg and then a couple of months later invasive ductal with LCIS. Would be very interested how you got your gp to transfer you to the oxford clinic. I live in lancashire. Had a sentinal node byopsey 5 weeks ago and lymoh nodes are clear. Arm ok at the moment. Struggling greatly with footware as I only take a size 1 shoe! Had some made to mesure stockingings but do not really reduce swelling.

Hi, Thank you so much for all your replies. I am 50, although as i am only an 'a' cup other breast has not much droop , but expecting it to look a little flatter than the implant. i have been to see the consultant this morning. Have asked about saving my nipple which he will do but obvious talked about the risk( I have LCIS as well as the invasive ductal) I have a couple of days to make up my mind. Did not think about not being able to shower. Hope you continue to recover well x

Yes it is the one you have had. I was wondering what the recovery time is, what type of implant you have and about nipple reconstruction? I see the consultant on Monday, but wanted to know from others who have actually had it done. Just over three weeks on I am still sore from the sential node biopsey.. Thank you for replying

Hi, I have just been recommended this after my mx. Please can i hear from anyone who has had this done. Not sure if i will need radio therapy as tumour was small and sentinal node biopsey was clear. However dicovered another small tumour when trying to get clear margins.

Hi, i have just joined the site. I have had a sentinal node biopsey but opted to try and get a clear margin. I have had a bit of pain with my arm movement and its now over 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately they found another small tumour so i am now having a mx of my left breast. fortunately my lymph nodes are clear.

Hello, i have been looking at this site and getting lots of information from it so thought i should join. I found a lump just before Easter and have had range of tests and small operations. I had a mammogram that only showed small calcium deposits, nor was anything shown on my first ultra sound. Two needle tests and a needle biopsey , followed by a lumpectomy finally produced my diagnosis. I had invasive ductal but also LCIS which i was told was an unusual mix. The tumour was only small and was hormone positive. I did not have a clear margin so opted for them to try and get that as i believe hormone thearpy will supress LCIS, and had a central node biopsey. Good news being lymph nodes were clear but they discovered another ductal tumour. Have been recommended a mx with immediate reconstruction. I would be suitable for the matrix reconstruction using pig skin. Please can i hear from anyone who has had this.
