Thank you vic you really helped to calm me down. I spoke to the nurse and she was great. She told me not to worry about phoning her over anything and she checked for me. The appointment had been arranged six months ago and she looked it up to see if my scan results were back but they weren't so it has nothing to do with that. I feel better now so thank you for your help x

I had a mastectomy in december followed by four months of chemo and now having radiotherapy. In january i was told by the consultant that they had seen something in my other breast which could possibly be scar tissue from an operation a few years ago, he said then they would check in six months again. I had an mri scan on this breast two weeks ago and today i had a ohone call askingme to go and see the consultant next wednesday. Well of course I went into a panic and started imagining all sorts of things. I have been told by someone that they had check ups every six months and I am tring to convince myself that is what it is. I will be on edge till wednesday. I am hopingyou can all help me to calm down. I don'tknow whether to phonethebreast care nurse butI always feel they will think I am worrying about nothing. Sorry I must sound really sorry for myself.

I hoped it was that but no one told me that could happen. I worry about everything. Was going to phone breast care nurse today then thought someone here might have the same. I'm really glad of this forum we can all help each other through. Feel better now.

I had my mastectomy on 29th december and am having chemotherapy now. I have just noticed swelling around my scar, it is not seroma but feels very lumpy, of course i am worrying that they did not get everything out although i was told they got it all. Has anyone else experienced this, i need reassuring.

Hi everyone, I had my first chemo on 17th Feb and I was really surprised that I felt ok after it. All I wanted to do was eat. That went on until Friday then the nausea started. The tablets they gave me just knock me out, spent all day in a sort of daze, then all weekend I've slept. Just woke up now hungry again but so tired I want to go back to bed. I know they say it will pass but I wondered does anyone else feel like this?

I am starting chemo on 17th Feb and after frightening myself by reading all the side effects i found this discussion. Thank you all i feel like i'm not on my own now. I feel so stupid for being scared when i see how others are managing it. I'm sure it will be fine as long as i can come on here and find support

I have had a mastectomy on 29th december and am now waiting to see the oncologist about the treatment i need. I get so worried about whats happening and I am glad I found this forum. I am sure it will help me with all the things I worry about. The nurses are really great but I dont like to bother them with what seem like silly little things. Izzy46
