Hi Ali It's probably the quickest part I think they try to get you started asap. I took my best friend with me to get the results, I kinda knew it was going to be bad news to be honest, folks faces are a dead give away. The surgeon told me I had cancer and would need lumpectomy etc I was in shock and they gave me a week to get over the shock. When I went back to discuss this with surgeon on a Friday, he said he would like to operate on the Monday haha no time to get in a state! ! so surgery went well no problems luckily and then the two week wait for the results of pathology I feel lucky that I was processed quite quickly, had mu op om 25 may, rads were delayed because oncologist recommended chemotherapy but I didn't want it, she gave me a week to think it over, but I didn't change my mind, couldn't face it so rads finished now amd on tamoxifen for a number of years it's difficult to stay positive, it is a roller coaster of emotions and you soon find out who your real friends are! Sheena x
