Hi Helen Thank you for your lovely message and opinon sharing with me. I have my 4 cycles of FEC chemotherapy and I have to go two more to go. I am having different side effects with every chemotherapy. 1st chemotherapy was really bad with lots of sickness so end up admitting into the hospital for two days. I was dehydrated so treated with antibiotic. Second one was lots fatigue and tiredness and less sickness. Third one mouth ulcer. I had my fourth one just yesterday so hope so not to bad. I have to wait and watch. 2nd chemo I have lost all my hair. My nails and skin got really black. It is depressing but nothing we can do anything about it. We have to stay positive and face the consequences. I had mustacomy done in 15 July 2015. i hope everything goes well with you. Take care. Love xxxx

Hi Karen I am under the same position. I have been diagnosed on 18 May 2015 and had Dom mastcomy done on 15 July 2015. I had my 1st chemo on 10th September and after two days I was so sick. I was dehydrated and had water infection. It's nearly 3 weeks still I do t have any energy and very tired. My next chemo on 1st October. I hope every things goes well this time. i had an appointment to see my oncologist today and discussed with her, which they probably giving me some extra strong anti sickness tablets to prevent sickness. i hope everything goes well. It does happen but think positive and be strong. good luck

Hi i had my first FEC on 10th September 2015. First two days I was alright than I was feeling so sick and bad vomiting and diahoria. I have to admit into the hospital under 24!hrs under observation. I had urine infection and I was dehydrated. I thing first chemo really knocke me down. I still don't have any energy, lots of weakness and tired. My all body is aching. Is anyone having a similar problem? Please let me know any replies any information will be very useful. I hear about Chemotherapy/Neulasta-PEG-injectiions. Is anyone had this injection. Does it work? thanks.

Hi my name is Lilly I have been diagnosed breast cancer and I had surgery to remove the whole breast on 15 July 2015. Today, I had discussion the results of my test which is Node negative prognosis and recurrence score result is high risk with 33%. They are giving me FEC Chemotherapy within 3 weeks time. The drugs used in FEC comes from the initials of the drugs uses Fluorouracil (also called 5FU) epirubicin cyclophosphMide they call Fluorouracil 5FU is anyone had a this type of chemotherapy. Can you please help me with side effects also. As I am on high risk of recurrences I was shocked. Please help me thanks.

Hi My name is Lila. I am 59 year old single mum. 23rd April I could lump in my breast. I went to see my GP and she felt the same way so she has refer it to me in the hospital. After all the tests like ultra sounds, MRI, core biopsy on 18th May 2015 they confirmed that I got the breast cancer. 15th July 2015 I had mine right mastectomy and SLNB. 4th August I went to see my consultant regarding my results. Histology - A40mm mixed invasive cancer with LCIS and DCIS, grade 2, 0/3 nodes, no lymphomas ulnar invasion, ER positive, HER-2 negative, predict is equal to 3.1% they talking about Further Management: discuss a it chemotherapy, await DX and hormones. I don't know nothing about it. I am really worried about the further treatment. Is any one have any similar situation can you please let me know how serious treatment, what is the survival chance and side effects. Thank you.
