I opted not to have a recon. then thought I changed my mind 2 years on, then changed it back again! I encouraged my bigger busted friend to have an immiediate recon, which she did. But after several operations (and one more to yet to come) due to complications, she says her advice would be not to have one if you could manage without. I never did have a cleavage but still miss the boob. However I managed to go out at the weekend in quite a low cut dress which looked fine. Everyone has to make their own decision. Wizz ... Hi I too had a reaction to the dye, but not anaphylactic. I just turned blue and then was the last one out of day surgery, but I think that was due to the 'piriton' they gave me. However it was very odd looking down and seeing blue patches. The first thing they told me in recovery was that I was blue - NICE. Apparently it is a rare but known reaction. Hi Linda I haven't experienced any different SEs from my Tamoixfen ones. getting and keeping the weight off is a different matter. Why can't they invent a drug to improve will power? Hi Linda I made the same changeover in May. I can't report any different symptoms. I still get hot flushes, but they are reducing slowly over time. My concern is that Tamoxifen did protect me from oestoporosis so I'm trying to include calcium in my diet and do some weight-bearing exercise. all the best Pauline ... View more

Hi Anne I would get it checked out with your Doctor. I should have done that today as I've also been suffering in the heat and I went with a small list, but forgot that one!
