Hi Bianca, Yes, yes, and yes x I've just stopped taking Letrozole 6 days ago, and already I feel better for it x My Oncologist told me to take 4 weeks off, and see how I feel x If I don't have anxiety, he's going to start me on another after the 4 weeks x I hope you're keeping well Xx 🙂

Hi all, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in December 2015. After undergoing Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy treatments, I went on hormonal treatment, firstly Anatrozole, for one year, was taken off of it, because it made me feel like a 90 year old woman x lol x Then I was given Letrozole, but I saw my Oncologist two days ago, and told him, that I have severe anxiety problems, and I feel it's Letrozole is to blame. My Oncologist has told me to stop the Letrozole for 4 weeks, to see if I don't have anxiety x I was just wondering if anyone has had similar symptoms? If it settles down, he's going to prescribe Exemestane x Thanks for any replies Xx 🙂

Hi Jinny, I've just joined here, and I realise it's a while since you've posted, but I'm 2 years past being diagnosed with Stage 3, and I truly feel I'm doing well, and hope to continue doing so 🙂 I hope you are too Xx

Hi all, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer on the 23rd December 2015, after my first Mammogram, at the age of 51. After undergoing 2 operations, Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy, I am now on hormonal treatments, and this is why I am posting 🙂 The first one I was on for a year, Anatrozole, but caused me no end of problems. In short my body felt like I was 90 years old x lol x So my Oncologist changed me on to Letrozole. These are fine, no 90 year old woman feeling, however, I seem to suffer from anxiety, something I've never had before. I honestly think it's Letrozole that's causing this. Has anyone else experienced this with these tablets, or am I crazy? x lol x Thanks 🙂

Hi, Please don't over think x We've all been where you are just now x From my own, personal, journey, I was so positive, because of the wonderful care I received. From the onset of diagnosis, throughout my treatment, my nurses and oncologist, kept me well informed of each stage of my treatment. When you go for your appointment on Tuesday, I should think your treatment team, will have your results of your Lymph Nodes results. This will determine what your next treatment will be. I had similar, as you, and I had 2 Lymph Nodes affected. I then had a good discussion with the team, and I ended up Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy treatments. That was a year ago, and I'm back working full-time and living life to the full, so chin up hunny, you will do this Xx

Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help me. I've been on Letrozole for almost a year now. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in 2015. Having had Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and a partial mastectomy, I then have been taking these tablets. I enjoyed a holiday abroad for two weeks, before commencing on these meds, and flying has never been a problem. But, since commencing these meds, I have had anxiety issues. I have suddenly had a fear of open spaces, heights and this scarily appeared when I was flying on our last holiday!! Is it these tablets, or something else that's suddenly made me have this problem? I can't believe it, I'm usually such an outgoing person, and out of nowhere this happened. I'd truly appreciate anyone's opinion on this x lol x I'm sorry if I sound like I've lost it, but this anxiety problems has only appeared since I've started these meds, so this is what I'm blaming x lol x Anyone else had similar symptoms? Thanks everyone xxx

Hi all x I'm new here x I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on the 23rd December x I'm awaiting a letter for going into hospital in January to get a drain put in? Can any of you lovely ladies give me any of your experiences on this, please? I'm sorry, but it's a fog at the moment x Scared, sad etc, but positive mental attitude I am using, because I am generally a strong lady x Thank you for any replies xx
