Using this section as “About my Cancer Type” so not so much me but the current me…too many me’s

Almost 41 when diagnosed with HER2+ Breast Cancer. Right, multi focal, IDC, G2, S3 due to size (72mm). It wasnt a lump that made me go to my GP, it was a change in density.

Chemo for 6 cycles, 1 every 3 weeks of Docetaxel, Carboplatin and Phesgo. Also having Zoladex to stop my periods as I suffer with heavy bleeding anyway and didnt want to go through super heavy periods and chemo at the same time.

Following 6 cycles of chemo, I will have a mastectomy, radiotherapy, reconstruction and whichever of the targeted therapies i need based on my mastectomy path report.

I started chemo in early Feb. 2nd was on my birthday. 3rd is 20th March etc etc. I have a port (TIVAD) fitted.

So yeah…thats current me.
