Two more rads to go !! Had 20 in total inc 5 boosters .Side effects have looked worst than what they are but omg the itchy rash I have between my boobs nothing works except wearing no top and bra !!! I have tried hydrocortisone cream and doublebase, suducrem too ! Any tips ? P.s to anyone about to start on the rad journey I was freaked out by the don’t do this or that and you’ll be tired but listen to your body only you will know you’re limits! Xx
Hi Karen I had an itchy rash at The end of my second week and I found pure Aloe Vera helped, I also took piriton tablets so it may have been them that did the trick but the combination worked for me! Xx Jo

Like you, I developed an itchy skin near the end of radiotherapy. It drove me to distraction until the radiologist recommended taking Piriton (antihistamines). Definitely worked for me so worth a try.
