It has been 2 years since I had my operation, had Chemo before this and had Herceptin for a year afterwards and on Letrozole for the next 5 years. I was working full time but was over 65 when I was diagnosed. I had to leave work and was told I wasn’t due any financial help…and am still without work. I think I might have PSTD because I can’t seem to get myself into a mindset to go out and look for work. Financially I need to. I coped well with everything up to now… no tears, strong and positive… so family and friends can’t understand now how I’m reluctant to get a job although I am nearly 68. What do others do…is there help to get back to work?
