How do I apply for other benefits if my ssp is due to run out

I applied for ESA, through the DWP, once I was made redundant from work.
Its a straight forward process, however the benefits are very low. I was awarded £73 per week. Not sure how you are supposed to live on that.
My job centre advisor suggested I apply for PIP, personal indepence payment.
However I have found a part time job, so I will no longer be receiving ESA.
Call Macmillan, they have a benefits advisor.
