Yep, quite agree. I saw infection when the round opened. And actually my BCN saw the redness on the 1st when I had my follow up. The last thing she said to me was “keep an eye on the little area of red”… by the following evening, it was dark red and throbbing… the next night my wound was completely open.

I actually asked the A&E nurse to swab too, and those results come to my GP not my surgeon- so I’ll know anyway. I’m not daft :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
You have to advocate for yourself- always.
