Hi everyone. Just want to say how comforting this site has been over the last week. You’re all so amazingly brave and reading your comments is actually helping a lot.
So, I recently turned 42 and in the last 2 weeks I found a large lump in right inner quadrant (feels attached to chest wall about 3cm, fixed). Gp did full exam and did 2ww referral to breast clinic (told it’s more 3-4 week wait). Seemed to appear from nowhere with dull aching and occasional sharp pains that are now in my right arm and only relieved with pain killers.
My worry is that I feel like I am now massively overthinking. I have had quite awful pelvic pain for about 6-8 months that prevents me sleeping or wakes me up. It’s the most awful gnawing ache. Can’t help thinking it’s now all connected. Also, my period has decided to act even more bizzare by hardly arriving this month. Pretty sure I am peri-menopausal due to prolonged light periods every 21-35 days for 18 months.
You can see I’m spiralling whilst waiting for my appointment. This was supposed to be short. Apologies. Just wanted to see if anyone had similar symptoms and had benign outcomes? Thank you.
