@jenp99, Hi, at the end of it all, if you’re not happy with the shape of the breasts, you can inform the surgeon and request surgery to make them symmetrical. That was what I was told before my lumpectomy and reconstruction. Although equally they say surgery after radiotherapy is difficult, so I’m not sure whether you have to wait several months.
And agree that other people telling us we are lucky, doesn’t really help, but I guess they are just trying to make us feel better. I would do anything to be back at work and in my normal get up & go routine.
