I can’t believe the nurses attitude and what they said to you after your surgery. If it was me I would follow up with the matron as their behaviour is not acceptable. My blood is boiling for you! 
Take time to recover as it can be emotional going over it.
PALS within hospitals can help you with complaints and poor service.

I agree with @carrie5 you look better than Robbie. Well done with cold capping, it’s not easy but it can work, it did for me.
