Hi @felineoptimist - I asked her about it. She said just e45 cream - basically nothing perfumed. I have some Moogoo from a little lifts box so she said that’s fine to use. She also recommended three time a day - it’s basically like a sunburn she said. She also told me if I was going to be fatigued it would be 2-3 weeks after the treatment ends rather than during - strange but I’m sure she knows what’s she’s talking about ! So you’ll have finished just before I start. I must say the 5 days rather than 15 seems like a real bonus doesn’t it. The idea of driving to the hospital every day for 3 weeks isn’t appealing so, hopefully our trial will allow this reduced timescale to be rolled out for everyone in the future. I think after all the chemo and surgery everyone needs the radio to be as easy as possible while obviously still doing what it needs to do
. PS I also asked her about swimming - she said it would be fine to do this as long as there is no broken skin - so that’s good news for your swimming plans. Like the sound of free yoga - my local cancer charity has lots of things but I’ve been backwards and forwards to the hospital for my Dad - he should be coming out next week so I can hopefully start thinking about my own wellbeing a bit more xxx
Sorry to hear about it being Covid @wibbles - what a nightmare
. Hope you’re feeling a little better now.
Sounds good @foxgem - I’ve not got much concentration for reading at the moment but I’m glad you have something to occupy you that sounds interesting ![]()
