@zebramoon Hope iron infusion goes ok and that it helps. . No experience to share, I’m afraid. Sorry to hear your cat is poorly, it’s not great having extra beings to worry about 
I’ll also be having radiation after chemo, and at a hospital much further away. Annoyingly my partner doesn’t drive, so hopefully I’ll be ok to drive myself???.
I had my appointment with oncologist last Wednesday ( EC cycle 2 , day 6) , and she commented on how well I looked, and I reported back happily that I felt well and that I’d had mostly mild side effects. Oh how the gods laughed…
That evening my guts started grumbling, the next morning felt very irritated, then turned into a constant pattern of being gassy, bloated, gut spasms, rushing to loo urgency and the most excruciating painful butthole! Oncology nurses said it’s a normal side effect, watch what I eat etc. They asked if I had mouth ulcers too. I said no, happily not yet. The Gods laughed again…
I now have developed an extensive crop of them over the past few days. Maybe just telling me not to eat anything as my guts don’t like food right now anyway.
Experimenting with cutting things out…( Not sure what will be left for Xmas dinner! )
Hair continues to fall despite cold cap, not sure how much longer before need a shave, just wearing permanent beanie for now and ignoring the situation. At least it’s not causing me pain !
