Hi all. Blimey, so much going on with everyone.
@anim4l thanks for the slide and info. Even though I’m still on some treatments I’ve been feeling the dip mental health-wise, as the very active time is done now. Time out for the mind to process it all is good (in my case at least) for my mental health. The last two weeks I had as holiday have really helped me. During chemo etc. I needed the distraction of work, but currently working stops me dealing with reality of the new situation. That said, I’ll have done 10 hours probably by the end of this week! It sounds like your body is doing well in terms of recovery post-chemo and good results too - am really pleased for you. Fingers crossed all symptoms will diminish with time.
@cridders Brilliant! So pleased. I think I’d assumed I’d want to party at end of active treatment too - truth is I’m too knackered and sore 
I just keep pushing out the celebration date, we’re just sailing past the six weeks since radio so next date is likely to be end of herceptin (bastard) at end of September.
@emsd2025 glad your radio staff listened and acted appropriately. Well done for advocating for yourself, shocking behaviour from the nurse. Hope little one is better soon.
@bellbert you conjure up some images Glad you’re doing well with the radio. Is the neuropathy easing at all?
@story1 facial sounds lovely idea. We’ve got to make sure we make time for pleasures, in this new/second life post treatment. I’m treating every day from now onwards as a bonus - the news could have been so much worse. I’m somewhat in awe of your recent two hour walk - most I can manage is about 20 minutes on good days, need a little rest afterwards and leg/knee pains not too bad (but at limit I’ll push them to, as the more I do- the more I hurt).
@cathie2 How are you getting on? You write so many supportive posts, but I’ve realised I’m not clear on how you are. I too am very grateful my work has been so supportive, it’s made such a positive difference. I still haven’t decided whether I need a proper block of time off yet
