1 Year on…
1 Year on… Hi everyone
I had my first mammogram last night, a year after all the surgery. The radiographer said that there is nothing in them that worries her, but they still have to be seen by a doctor which is normal practice. Big sigh of relief!..she actually took me in the room to have a look at them and explained things to me.
I saw my onc as well last thursday and he said because I have gone on the menopause at 39 he would like me to have a bone density scan. Apparently my bones will start to age 10 years quicker than normal so he wants to keep an eye on that.
Hopefully this is the road to recovery now and maybe I can start thinking ahead.
I’m so pleased about this news for my partner as he has lost both parents in the past 2 years to cancer, so he’s been worried sick about me.
Love
Suzanne
Great news Hi
Glad to hear your news. It is an awful time for family and partners, sometimes I think they do not cope has much as we do… It is a long tough journey to recovery but never stop make plans, its what I do now, its took a long time, sort of like a roller coaster of emotions. Some days better than others.
I wish you well on your journey along the road to recovery.
Love Elaine
