After 10years on the tam, am now 48 and wondering what comes next. Not had a menstrual cycle in all that time, so have no idea about where I’d be in terms of a menopause. Not seen BC consultant for years. Should I expect an appointment?? do I just stop the tam?? suddenly producing hormones again when it’s been about suppressing production?? To go through menopause again after facing it ten years ago???

Congratulation to you, for getting this far, most of all taking Tamoxifen for 10 years, wishing you health and happiness going forward, however a chat with your GP or the breast cancer nurses on this site would put your mind as rest.
