11 years on

have not posted on here for quite a while but just thought I would let you kknow that its is now 11 years since my original diagnosis - surgery then rads then tamoxifen. I still get terrified every time I have to go for my mammo and have been a nervous wreck this past fortnight but good news today. never thought I would be posting this when I was diagnosed as i thought my time was up but still here!

Best wishes to all, Laine

That’s great news Laine, so lovely to hear of positive stories, hope and Inspiration indeed! x

Thank you SO much for this - and glad you’re still around!

Thank you so much for this - really important for folk to hear, especially the newly-diagnosed.

Best wishes for the next 11 (or 20 or 30) years! xxxxxx

Thank you so much for posting this, so reassuring for those of us near the beginning and playing the waiting game. x

So glad it has helped - I will never forget those early days when all I could see was darkness. Just to add that I know of a fair few people that I have discovered during these years who were diagnosed before me and are still going strong but they arent on any forums so no-one knows.

love to all, Laine x
