H there

I was diagnosed  with Invasive Ductal Grade 1 Cancer August 2012 and up to today I thought I was doing well mentally, accepting the fact that I  had  been through breast cancer surgery and radio therapy and come through it pretty well. That is until today when I completely broke down following the most ardious 2 hours trying to get some travel insurance. Having been subjected to numerous questions ranging from  the mild of “did it reach your lymph nodes” to is it terminal.  Then to be told “no we can not offer you cover”  or on the lucky side being offered cover though it was at a premium nearly as much as the holiday would cost me! They make it seem that we bear a dreadful curse, where is the sensitivity and support from these people.  Thank goodness there is BCC and fellow sufferers out there to help us back on the right road.
