I normally do check my breasts, however upon a recent check I have found a hard lump that feels irregular and doesn’t seem how I imagine a fixed lump would feel. I swear this lump wasnt there before but maybe it was just too small to feel
I had obviously been poking around with this breast and since fiddling I have been having a cloudy water discharge from the nipple.
I was supposed to get the depo redone in jan but I never bothered, nor am I on any other birth control, and I havnt started any periods or even spotting yet.
I have had 3-4 docs and nurses feel it and they dont think it is pathological but recommended it will be best to get it checked so im seeing a breast surgeon on 27th march. The reason I think they dont think its pathological is because of my age, because to me it feels irregular and hard. Plus I have discharge. I cant feel anything and have no discharge from the other breast. The discharge seems to be more when its squeezed and it doesn’t happen every time. I have never had discharge before and I have no children and no chance of being pregnant
Hi Amz988
You’re doing the right thing to see the breast surgeon. It’ll put your mind at rest that nothing sinister is going on, all being well. And remember the breast clinic deals with all sorts of non-critical breast conditions, not just breast cancer so always good to get it checked out. Good luck. xx
Thank you, I hope it is something benign, finding uni hard to deal with , with all this worry
hi Amz
Well done for getting it checked out. The anxiety is a problem as inevitably the mind goes into overdrive, but of all the things it could be bc is the Least Likely.
The normal outcome, especially for a woman of your age, is its nothing serious.
Difficult to do, but try & put it out of your mind & as we say to many on here, do not google your symptoms, its not relevant to you individually & all it does is create a whole load of unnecessary anxiety.
