I am 20yrs on from being diagnosed. Left side mastectomy then 6 mnth kemo. No reconstruction. I was 34 with three kids married. I am still married sex life has always been fine with 2 breasts and then only 1. My kids grandkids all see me with one breast nothing hidden. I am and always have been the same person missing a breast makes no difference. I never usually talk about my cancer but just listened to trisha on this morning

Hi Glad this is brilliant to read can I ask what your original diagnosis was and if you’ve had any scares along the way. I was grade three in 2 nodes and struggle with recurrence fears

I was graded 4 very aggresive i had a mastectomy within 10 days of diagnosis. Followed by kemo. I have never had any more problems since.
