Went to the doctor today. Right breast is bigger than the left, sometimes the nipple retract, and slightly painful at times. Doctor checked under arm pits felt fine. She said the glands felt thickening? But they do move between fingers? In the left (much smaller), she said she felt slight thickening.
Just awaiting scan at breast cancer clinic.
Any other possible things it could be? Scared/ worried is a understatement. Any tips or advice greatly received

Hello and welcome to the forum where you will get loads of help and support from the wonderful ladies on here.
You have done absolutely the right thing by getting this checked out as any breast change should be investigated. Your GP is referring you to a breast clinic not because they think it is bc, rather they are referring you to the experts, keep mind that the breast clinics do not just deal with bc, there are a lot of other benign breast conditions that they help ladies with, Also do not worry if your appointment comes through quickly, GPs should refer under the 2 week rule, and it could be that there is an appointment available quickly, it does not mean that there is anything sinister going on.
Please try not to use Dr Google, there is a lot of out of date misinformation out there which only serves to cause anxiety.
Try as much as possible, and we all know it is not easy when you are this worry, to distract yourself whilst you wait for your appointment,
There is always someone on here who will be able to help and support you so just come on here whenever you need to and we will get you through.
