I have a lump that seems to change size during the month and is tender when pressed, even more so before my period. My doctor is referring me to the breast clinic, at first i wasn’t worried as the doctor didn’t seem to be concerned but now i’m very worried. Has anyone else had this and it turns out to be ok?

Thanks for your responce, i’ve just got back from the clinic and it did turn out to be nothing, much to my relief. The staff at the clinic were so helpful and did a realy good job of keeping everyone calm… I’m so glad i can now enjoy Christmas without worrying.
Always get lumps checked out as pain can be a symptom of breast cancer - any changes you think have happened whatever age you are should be checked. Glad yours is OK
Hi i’m new on here, i’m 22 and found a lump. I’ve visited the doctors today and have been referred for urgent breast surgery i can’t stop worrying and thinking the worst x
Caroline, so good to hear it was benign but do keep an eye on it. Any changes that don’t seem right get it checked out. Enjoy your Christmas.
Best of luck with the surgery chazzaxrx. It sounds like it’s all very sudden for you but at least you are being treated quickly. Hope you can still enjoy your crimbo. Best wishes.
