3 months post surgery

I had a lumpectomy on 17th April and 1 sentinel lymph node removed. All margins were clear. I now have orange peel skin on my breast and it still feels hard. I’m taking exemestane

Hi longmuir1949

Thanks for posting.

You don’t mention whether you have had radiotherapy after your lumpectomy in April. Changes to the texture of the breast may be a side effect of radiotherapy or surgery.

We would always suggest you get any new changes you have noticed checked out by your treatment team or GP. If you are no longer under the care of the hospital you can ask your GP to re-refer you back to your treatment team for a review.
