33yo f should I get a 2nd opinion

2nd Opinion?

Breast mass “11 oclock 3cmx2cm birads 2 cyst in left breast and mass found in right breast appears to be normal thickening tissue. Extremely dense breast” This was from my US in June. A few weeks ago I had a hives like rash pop up and turn into a weird smooth patch of skin over a new mass in my right breast. The new mass is flatter than the 1st one, but seems bigger. It also almost feels like there is a hole in the middle of it. It kind of goes in a line from the original mass towards my nipple and there is a hard lump that is raised quite a bit in my upper right breast right below my armpit area(right above original mass). I had a burning sensation in my nipple, but it was only consistent for 1 day. I have been getting alot of petechiae on my breast recently and have had some random sharp pain right below my rib and in my back on the side with the mass. The original mass does seem to move side to side almost like it is attached to a string. The new mass doesn’t seem to move and is right next to my nipple. I do have alot of small knots in both breast that are sore. I think they might be cyst. The masses feel different than the knots. I don’t know what my next steps should be.

I’m so sorry you have all this worry. If it’s something that’s happened since your last investigation Id go back to your GP and ask for another referral to the breast clinic . It’s very probably nothing to worry about but it will bother you until you get it checked . don’t worry about going back again if it needs looking at it needs looking at.

Thank you for the response. I have an appointment at MD Anderson in a few weeks, but honestly the breast clinic I went to in June made me feel so dismissed. I don’t want to go.

It’s very frustrating that people with totally reasonable concerns are made to feel like that sometimes. Most definitely get a second opinion either from another doctor at the breast clinic or privately until you feel you a proper explanation and feel re-assured you should keep asking questions .

:heart:MD Anderson was somewhere I read up on during my treatments and always seemed very good, was your last appointment there or will this be your first one? :two_hearts::two_hearts::sparkles::sparkles:Shi xx

I previously went to a small breast clinic in a small town near me. This will be my 1st time going to MD Anderson. My hope is it will be a 1 day process vs the weeks of different appts i went through from May to June. They say its any where from 4 to 6 hours and they do a complete assessment from mammo to MRI assisted biopsy(if needed). I am pretty optimistic that it is not cancer, but with the new symptoms I do worry.

MD Anderson is a premier NCI hospital in the states. There is no better place to be. I hope they’ll be able to figure everything out quickly!
