in February I wasI diagnosed with Invasive Ductual Carcinoma Gtade 3 - ER positive/PR negative and HER positive. I had DCIS in 2023 and had a lumpectomy and radiotherapy, so I had to have a mastectomy. I am 4 weeks post surgery and now just waiting on Oncology Team as I need to have Chemo. I am struggling with my right side - I feel like I am wearing a plastic brace!!! Any ideas for relieving the stiffness. Take care Jx

I had a double mastectomy 3rd December 2025 i totally understand the feeling your having, I find that wearing a cotton crop top during the day helps and then at night gentle massage with a good oil has helped me. I’m still very numb and think I might always be but im alive and thats good enough for me xx

Hi, I’m also 4 weeks post and my biggest issue was my rib cage, felt awful like I’d been punched and had broken my ribs.. but it all of a sudden disappeared and I feel so much better a week on.. hopefully yours will be the same. Otherwise perhaps call breast nurse ? See if they can help
