I definitely making the most of the time off and not going back September I have been there 15 years and only had 2 days off ill so I am having cheap holiday in term time in November x I get 6 months full pay x
Lucky you get 6 months full pay I work for gp surgery been there 16 years and was told I’m on half pay That’s the medical profession for you

Hi Peedles - have you got an NHS contract? You should get 6 months full pay then 6 months half pay. Does your employer have a website - check their sickness policy.
(Btw - I’m a trade union rep in the NHS - might as well make myself useful whilst I’m here??? ?)
I agree ,I can’t believe that is right - do you have a Human Resources dept you could contact to check terms and conditions ?
