A bit worried

Hi, I’m lia and im 15 years old.

Recently i’ve seen that my right breast is more flat on the bottom compared to my left breast, It also has some discolouration in that area. So far I don’t think I feel any lumps that I would suspect as breast cancer but I’m going to keep an eye on it for the next 2 weeks or so to see if i notice any more changes…

I was wondering If anyone had the same symptoms as I have and maybe some reassurance? I have health anxiety so I tend to think some normal things are worse than they actually are and I really want to put my mind to rest for a bit.

I have read up on IBC which it could possibly be but I’ve heard it spreads quite rapidly which I don’t feel mine is.

Hello Lia,
It’s most likely to be nothing to worry about & even more unlikely to be IBC which is very rare & would be largely unknown in someone of your age.
There is usually a far more common reason for any breast change.
Are you able to talk to your mum or another trusted woman about it? Alternatively, there should be a school nurse who could see you. It may also be an idea for your GP to check it out for you, to put your mind at rest.
