Diagnosed 2 years ago with secondaries to bones (both hips, back and ribs) also liver. Had hip replacement 18 months ago and have been on xeloda ever since. Had ct scan last week and results show that liver mets have tottally gone, also bones are healing!!! Have been allowed to stop the chemo and onc. is going to monitor situation (just having zometa for bones) . Hope this sends a message of hope to all who read this post xxxx

I’m in need of some positives. My daughter was diagnosed 2 years ago with secondary breast cancer to her spine she has been on herceptin ever since, we saw her doc at the breast unit last week and he wants her to have a mammogram and ultra sound next week, her breast is rather lumpy bumpy in his words hoping and praying its scar tissue so reading your post gives me hope thank you xx
