a runny nose to the point of dripping

if I don’t get to a tissue in time!

Is this another side effect yet to be explained to me?

Almost 2 weeks ago had 2nd chemo - taxotere.

So you’ve got the tax runny nose - do you have the tax runny eyes too?

Yet another side effect the oncs don’t bother to tell you about.

My nose literally used to drip all over the place if I didn’t have a tissue close to hand. I was always explaining to people that I didn’t have a cold and it wasn’t anything catching. A nuisance, but relatively minor compared with other side effects, don’t you think?

Its probably due to having lost the little hairs in your nose!

I bet they didn’t warn you about the wind you get either - look for the thread on here entitled Wind it should put a smile on your face

While I was on epi not only did my nose run but it was permanently cold. Must be all chemo drugs.

I have a drippy nose and just one of my eyes in week 3 on epi every time. Went out in a slight breeze today and could not see for tears.

Thanks girls, well at least I now know I am just a normal drippy chemo sufferer.

The wind, yes I’ve read that thread and found it hilarious - so far so good, not really had to much of a problem with that but I am quite a windy person anyway.

drip, drip, drip (would someone turn the tap off please)

Have a very cold, very runny nose and finished my 4th FEC nearly 4 weeks ago. Nose is just starting to stop dripping now. Drives me mad - makes my make-up come off too quickly!

I’ve had to invest in L’Oreal Beauty tubes rather than mascara due to runny eyes. - my lashes are still in needless to say. the beauty tubes (who thought of that name?!) also stay put for about 3 days and to get them off you use just warm water and cotton wool - no rubbing needed - so i’m hoping my lashes stay put for onger!

Nose dripy too -no hairs there either!

Beauty Tubes, never heard of them (but then I am pretty extinct here in France). Do they make Beauty Masks cos I think I need one of them now??

I have had one TAX so far and nose and eyes wont stop dripping. Was never warned about that one! Never been through so many tissues and nose very sore too. I tell everyone I have chemo eyes and nose!

My runny nose and runny eye seems to come in spasms, usually I am bunged up like anything first thing in the morning, so have to have a good blow. The running is just periodic but I can’t go anywhere without tissues

yeah me too, my nose started runing after my 2nd fec, the wind came shortly after my 1st fec. eyes have run too amongst all the other lovely side effects.
