Hi folks,
I’m just wondering if anyone else has had any issues with weight gain? I’ve put on about a stone since the beginning of this whole cancer debacle: I finished chemo last month & since then my weight seems to be growing exponentially despite me cutting down & behaving myself. Do you think this is just a short term side effect from the drugs still swishing about in my system, & how long does it take for everything to get back to normal??
Any words of wisdom gratefully received!!
Thanks,
J
Hi Janeypie,
Sorry you haven’t had any replies to your question as yet, but hopefully someone will see it now. To help you along I’ve put for you below links to a couple of BCC’s publications you might find helpful.

Janeypie, it’s only a temporary thing. I also put on about a stone and tried to loss weight after chemo and nothing happened. It takes a few months just keep eating healthily and it will start to shift, I think it’s probably all the drugs in our bodies that slows the weight loss initially.
