I have been on tamoxifen for three months now, and I don’t know if it is tamoxifen related but for the last few days my feet have been really sore. It started in my right big toe at the end and is slowly spreading down the sole of my sole. Has anyone else had this? Is it a tamoxifen side effect (or something else)? Any top tips for pain relief?

That sounds very uncomfortable! You may be interested in posting in the ‘ask our nurses’ section about this as a side effect of Tamoxifen.

Just saw your post…have the same problem
My toes and sole were so painful and was hard to resolve but did a few things to find relief…
Placed pillows to put up my feet when I sleep, everyday
Soaking my feet in warm salt water
Getting hubby to Massage
Wear comfortable shoes, I stopped using shoes with high heels
Finally… going to reflexology
From what I understand from my oncologist, this could be a side effect from combination of chemotherapy and Tamoxifen.
Hope the above suggestions will help relief your pain.
