Hoping I am just overreacting but getting myself in a complete panic.
The past few days I’ve had a pain, a sore spot to touch, in the abdominal are just to the right and slightly above the bellybutton level.
I have also for a couple of weeks had some bowel upset, feeling constipated but still able to go once a day but looser and don’t feel empty.
I am still on herceptin, along with zoladex and tamoxifen, and know herceptin can cause bowel issues also.
But my mind is automatically going to the worst and thinking it’s spread to liver.
Has anyone else had pain in this region and been nothing? To note it doesn’t seem high enough to be liver but I’m not 100%, it’s almost on waistline just off centre.
Hi there, totally understand your thinking, not sure that ever leaves you. I had a similar feeling during my chemo, carboplatin and paclitaxel cycle and my brain went into overdrive. Mentioned it to my BC nurse and she prescribed omeprazole which helped settle everything after a while. I hope yours can be sorted soon, wish you all the best and lots of love x
I too have constipation with Phesgo which I am told is Herceptin and another drug. Like you manage to go once a day but often feel full and bloated and uncomfortable in my stomach. I would reach out to the nurses as mentioned above and also mention it at your doctor’s appointment as they may be able to reassure you too. Macmillan and Breat canxer Now help lines are good for general anxiety about your symptoms. However, it is normal to have this anxiety. Believe me I get it too. I distact myself with hobbies, listening to music, meeting friends, reading and it helps.

I’m the same I’ve had pain on my lower right abdominal and constantly constipated bloated and not feeling like I’m emptying. I’ve been to gp and was given lexido but worried about it constantly.
