Where to start? Diagnosed grade 3. Facing chemo first, surgery, radiotherapy and then hormone medication! My head is mashed! And I have to decide which chemo route for Monday. Choices are normal chemo or a trial (ROSCO). How on earth do I decide? I have been given information for both but I don’t know how I can make the right choice when my head’s such a mess?
Hi @Dotty509 so sorry that you have found yourself here. But at least you have found the forum and will hopefully you will find lots of support and advice here. I’m in a different position from you (Grade 3 tumour, already had mastectomy, now having chemo, on 3rd of 6) but if you put Rosco trial into the search engine, you will find some women on it. I’ve seen it mentioned, definitely. I also find the monthly threads really good - as you meet people who are starting chemo around the same time.
I would suggest calling the breast care nurses if you feel flummoxed by all the information, they are there to help and may be able to talk it over with you.
All the best x
