AC chemo

Hello, I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of September. I went through a double mastectomy and just started chemo this past Friday. I’m having a hard time with the symptoms. Would love some feedback. How do you stay motivated to continue this process?

I also know that people can find the monthly chemo starter threads to be supportive and motivating. You can find the thread for January here: January 2024 chemo starters

I’m sorry to hear that. I found counselling made a big difference to me. I was referred through my GP, but a lot of the charities offer it. Penny Brohn is a lovely charity that offer a lot of support. I keep up the exercise as it has so many benefits and I really notice when I stop albeit that it is a bit of a vicious circle. Also I do like a massage. You can get cancer specialist ones. Also support groups do what it says on the tin. I hope you find something that helps you soon.
