Advice as my mum has been recently diagnosed with Breast cancer

I attended my mum’s follow up appointment after surgery for grade 2 breast cancer which had travelled into her first lymph node. I was really surprised to find out that chemo only provide and extra 4% of being well in 10 years - is this normal given the side effects?

She he is now described as cancer free (no hormone indicators) But there is always a chance it may have travelled else where in the body I offered to pay for her to go for full body scan privately would anyone else recommend this.

My logic is it may settle her choice not to have chemo if this was negative

thanks in advance
