Hi Sharon
After my first Tax my throat felt very strange, probably more like a throat infection than anything else although it wasn’t. When I told the docs they weren’t interested at all. My lymph nodes came up around my neck and throat and they said it was reactive - they’ve now gone down quite a bit (3 weeks post chemo).
Not quite the same as you’re experiencing. You’ve just had 6 chemos though so I would have thought your body will take time to feel better. How about going to your GP for them to take a look?

Thank you elinda,i dont think i have described the feeling very well,it feels like something is stuck from my tonsils to my back !!! will mention it to the onc on tuesday i think.xxx
I had a similar feeling on Taxotere (but not as marked as yours, I think) - my throat felt as tho’ it was closing up and getting sore.
I’d read about this as a side effect of Taxotere and it sorted of peaked and wore off again. Taxotere can make you breathless, too.
Hope this reassures you that you’re not the only one, but do seek advice if you are worried.
X
