3 weeks ago today I had a benign lump removed after a wire insertion. How long should the fluid around the wound last. I still can’t do much with my arm on the side of the wound or I seem to make myself very sore and fluid gathers even more. Is this normal and when should I start to get back to normal. When I asked the doctor at my follow up appointment last week he just said that it would get back to normal eventually. But that feels like saying how long is a piece of string. My news was good but because I don’t seem to be getting back to normal I am left feeling very tearful.
