I need some advice please. I am starting 2weeks of rads 25th May 09!

Yes I have been told the possible side effects, but there is not much help or advice out there! So I am hoping I can get some from here As I find you guys a great source of help. advice & support!
I am scared as it would have been not even 4 wks since the removed the tumour from the cerebal area (back of the head left side) OK its healed but am still really sore!
There are a number of forum users who have experienced whole brain radiotherapy and I’m sure they’ll be along to support you through this. There are a number of threads on the forum also that discusses this subject. To find the threads go to the ‘latest posts’ page and in the second search box (the one more to the centre of the page) type in WBR or whole brain radiotherapy and this will bring the threads that relate to this subject.

Hi Mel, Lisa here, sorry you are having to have rads. I dont know much about them but Angie on this site had them and although she hasnt been on for a while I know she had more effects from the steroids than the rads. Fingers crossed all goes well for you xx
