After chemo, lump shrunk and also clear fluid leaking

Hi everyone

Hope you are doing well

After my mums first chemo, very good improvements noticed such as redness is almost faded and lump that was visible to your eyes is now completely shrunk. Sometimes when she takes shower, the lump area releases clear fluids and than stops once it dries. Sometimes on and off pain but nothing extreme

I have contacted out of hours number and they said to keep an eye on temperature and if any other symptoms than to call back again

My mum otherwise is doing fine

Has anyone else had similar experience

Does your mother have broken skin, maybe from biopsies or is the fluid leaking from her nipple? Glad the signs ar good, I’m not quite understanding where the fluid would be oozing from as skin is a barrier to fluid loss unless its broken in some way, which could increase risk of infection entering and maybe why its important to keep an eye on her temperature
